Exclusively for NNN Members and Volunteers!
October 18th is our Fall All Hands Workshop
North City Water District, 1519 NE 177th Street, Shoreline
12:30PM to 2:30 PM
Join us for light snacks, interesting conversation, and some thoughts on what we can and cannot do as we provide services and help to one another.
Chat with Sound Generations
Tanya McGee, Region Lead Coordinator, Pathways Information & Assistance, will talk about what services Sound Generations offers and who is eligible for those services. We will have plenty of time to ask her questions and present scenarios we think we might come across to see if Sound Generations can help. Also, we will be interested in learning what gaps Tanya sees in services available in King County and how they might be addressed. To learn about Sound Generations before the workshop, checkout soundgenerations.org
Fall Prevention
Suzy Chandler and Eileen Carter will talk about the checklist that the King County Fall specialist team uses for their in home visits.
Can I Do That?
Let’s talk some more about boundaries. What we as volunteers and members can do on behalf of NNN and where we need to draw the line. Bring your questions and suggestions, or submit ahead of time. We are all learning as we go along and don’t have all the answers. But if we are stumped, there are good resources out there we can call upon.
