COVID-19 Vaccines Are Underway, Group "1-B" Coming Soon

While it's too early to contact your health care provider to schedule your vaccine, if you're in the next group (Phase 1b, Tier 1) you can always find the latest info on the Department of Health website.

The Washington State Department of Health is planning for the next phase “1B” and determining when 1B eligibility will open. Phase 1B is divided into a Tier 1 that will go first, followed by Tiers 2-4. In the first tier, the DOH has included all people 70 years and older and people 50 years and older in multigenerational households. You can learn more about Phase 1b eligibility.

By Volunteers, For Volunteers - Jan 27
As suggested by our volunteers, we're hosting our First Ever monthly "For Volunteers Only Open Forum" (listed on the Events page).

Our first event is scheduled for Wednesday January 27 from 4:30-5:30 over Zoom. The idea for this forum was formed in response to volunteer feedback in our recent telephone survey. The forum is intended  to create an opportunity for our volunteers to get to know each other, share tips and tricks, ask each other questions -- in general, just to help us share experiences and learn more about each other.

The open discussion is by Zoom for now, but we expect to migrate to in-person settings once we have the opportunity later this spring/summer (fingers crossed).

Our trained volunteers are here for you! Call 253-237-2848 or email services@northwestneighborsnetwork.org for your requests

Do you follow our Northwest Neighbors Network Facebook page? We post items there as well as our bi-weekly news, it's a quick way to update NNN friends and community on what we're doing.
