Let’s Do Lunch! July 23rd we're in Edmonds @ the Rusty Pelican Cafe

Lunch and Conversation social time with NNN is here! Meet up in person, and catch up with those you haven't seen in far too long.

 
Lunch is open to the public and starts at 1:00 p.m. No need to register in advance. We each pay for our own food and drink.

Thanks to the NNN Social Committee for organizing and setting up the first few months of hosts. (Hosts help plan the lunch event )

Ready to Treat Your Feet?
Are you ready to give some attention to your hard-working feet and check out the lovely views at the newly renovated Edmonds Waterfront Center? Select Wednesday appointments are being made now. ALL clients are welcome: members, non-members, seniors, non-seniors, all levels of foot care needs.
 
How to get on the list?
Please call 425.774.5555, ext 104 for more information or to schedule an appointment. Licensed nurses provide foot care services with a fee of $30 per session.
 
The Potlach Bistro at the Edmonds Waterfront Center is also open and taking lunch reservations.

Local Activities/Events
Research Time! Starting July 24:
The Sno-Isle Genealogical Research Library is now open and once again offering one-on-one brick wall sessions with a professional researcher, starting Saturday, July 24. The library is located at 19927 Poplar Way, Heritage Park, Lynnwood. To schedule an appointment, call 425-775-6267 to register. The Sno-Isle Genealogical Society is a not-for-profit organization devoted to furthering genealogical research and education, housing genealogical materials and promoting interest in Family History. Blanket Bingo - Richmond Beach - July 31 (5-6:30):
Open to all. Bring your blankets, a picnic, and prepare to win fun Richmond Beach-themed bingo prizes. Bingo cards are $1. Get settled in from 5:00-5:15 so you're ready for the first bingo game at 5:15. Located at the Richmond Beach Community Park (by the library) on Saturday, July 31 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Look for our NNN yard sign if you’d like to bring your blanket and sit with fellow NNN members and volunteers!
 
Lynnwood Convention Center Job Fair - August 10:

Lynnwood businesses and job seekers are invited to participate in an August 10th job fair. The fair will be Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Lynnwood Convention Center. No appointments necessary / first-come first-serve. Interviews on-site.

After our NNN Lunch at the Diamond Knot Brew Pub in Mountlake Terrace on Friday, September 10, the first ten to sign up get to take part in a behind-the-scenes tour from 2:30-3:30 PM.
 
Register on the Brewery Tour Event page for the lunch and brew pub event; click on Register Now and follow the instructions to register yourself, another member, or a guest; when you're ready, click Complete Registration. You will get a confirmation if done correctly. If you need help registering, email darci@northwestneighborsnetwork.org

(If member transportation is needed, click on request transportation page, (the same spot page where you register for the tour)

Lynnwood Meet Me at Park

Our volunteers had a great time talking with prospective members and learning about other nonprofits in south Snohomish County this month. Bring a friend and join us at our NNN booth at the final Lynnwood community "Meet Me at the Park" event on July 27. 
 
Community Health & Resource Fair ● July 27 ● 6pm – 8pm
The City of Lynnwood is hosting the Wilcox Park event where local non-profit agencies will provide information about their no-cost or low-cost services and programs for our community members. They will offer free, fun, safe activities for kids, prizes, and giveaways. These events are organized by the City of Lynnwood and the Verdant Health Commission.
