What’s Up, What’s New
The overwhelming majority of older adults wish to “age in place” and to stay living in their own homes/apartments throughout their senior years. Yet aging in place can become challenging and at some point the “little things” can make it difficult to remain at home. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have family members or friends to help out, and even for those who do, busy schedules or distance can be limiting factors. Northwest Neighbors is part of the rapidly growing national “Village” movement and is one of a handful of Washington State nonprofits helping seniors age in place. If you or someone you know love your home and wish to stay in it for as long as possible, please come learn more about what NNN has to offer and how you can get involved.
Fee: $2.00 for members $4.00 non-memebers.
