CBD (cannabidiols), a non-psychoactive ingredient in the cannabis plant, is marketed for a range of physical and mental health concerns. The legalization of CBD products has elevated interest in both research and usage of CBD. Over 20% of Americans 65 years and older say they have tried CBD oil for various ailments, but is it safe? Is it truly effective?

Licensed pharmacist and UW teaching professor Dr. Abby Winter, PharmD, MPA, CDCES, will provide an overview of CBD products, including what to look for and when to use caution.

This session is free but registration is required. Once registered, you'll receive an email confirmation. As the date for the session gets closer, you'll then receive a second email with the Zoom log on information.
